In my book, a trip to Trader Joe's is like going on a field trip. Anticipation on the drive out, my face glowing as we see the sights, and a ride home with a special treat and a twinkle in my eye. Who knew the joys of childhood could be recreated with a simple trip to the grocery store? (Last year TJ and I had a long distance relationship....read about that here in "I Miss Joe.")
Free coffee (and cream---my mini cup is split 50/50).

Saving the best for last.... CANDY CANE JOE-JOE'S ARE BACK. I repeat. (...) The holiday season can now officially begin. If I write an ode to these little babies, I'll be sure to post it here.
Update: I popped into TJ's again this afternoon and they were sampling spiced cider with pumpkin cheesecake. Best. Monday. Ever.

I just got back from Trader's and love this post. Somehow it just makes grocery shopping better :) And... everyday there is something new that I never knew existed. Today... frozen mushroom rizotto... YES!
